What you get is quality from start to finish
When Nick Garrard started to renovate an industrial barn in Suffolk as his new home, he had no hesitation in going back to Hall Brothers to design and build the staircase following a successful experience some years before.
It was during the previous ten-year renovation project of a derelict Grade II listed barn that Nick first came across the company, thanks to a recommendation from one of his neighbours.
He says: “Straightaway I knew we were in safe hands and although I had ideas about the staircase, Hall Brothers brought a fresh approach and helpful advice to the job. We were able to share our thoughts before coming up with the definitive design which was created perfectly and installed. The team also helped us to overcome a few challenges posed by the Grade II listed status.
“Years later – with the barn sold and a new project underway – I decided to contact the company to produce the statement oak and glass staircase that is now a major feature in our open-plan living space.
“We needed a contemporary design to complement the original industrial barn and instead of wooden spindles we chose a glass side which looks stunning.
“Throughout both projects I was totally confident Hall Brothers would deliver the result I wanted – and that was absolutely the case. What you get is quality from start to finish – from the first discussion through to the installation of the finished item – and that is very reassuring.”
