“I can’t speak too highly of Hall Brothers’ excellent work”

PROJECT FULFILS LONG-HELD DREAM

From the first project of making window boards for the sitting room in Philip and Jane Cordle’s 200-year old Suffolk farmhouse, the company has gone on to undertake a number of significant projects for the couple.

These have included creating a bespoke garden room with an open trussed roof and chevron ceiling using Karri, a unique wood from south western Australia. Subsequently the company built a porch and new Oak front door, renewed the traditional sash windows at the front of the property and made a beautiful pair of arched French doors.

Philip says: “Around six or seven years ago, Hall Brothers undertook a project close to my heart which fulfilled a long-held dream. They removed the centre of our house and put in a stunning staircase with kite winders and cut strings.

“Philip Hall and I worked on the design together and thanks to his logical mind and approach, we were able to bounce ideas off each other before arriving at the perfect solution.

“Our ideas were then translated into reality and installed by the Hall Brothers team, including Richard Hall who I believe is one of the finest craftsmen I have ever seen. Quite simply it has transformed our entrance hall.

“What sets Hall Brothers apart is their willingness to work with you to arrive at a solution everyone is happy with before starting work. I can’t speak too highly of their excellent work which we have been fortunate to enjoy over the last 25 years.”
